Calathea makoyana
The petiole is purple-red, with dark green and white or pale yellow feather markings on the leaf surface, like the pattern on the peacock's tail feathers, hence the name. The leaves stretch during the day and fold up at night.
Temperature
Like semi-shade environment, avoid direct sunlight, adapt to grow in a warm, humid environment. Family maintenance should be given a certain degree of shade, control the temperature of 12~29ºC, winter temperature maintained at 16~18ºC.
Water
Spring and summer are the peak seasons of its growth, requiring greater air humidity, which can be sprayed in time.
